MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE & FARMERS WELFARE, New Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of ADDITIONAL COMMISSIONER (Natural Resource Management / Rainfed Farming System).

Remuneration	Level 13 (1,23,100/- to 2,15,900/-) of the Pay Matrix on deputation (including Short Term Contract) basis.
Educational Qualifications	Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a Subject or Agri. Chemistry or Soil Science or Agri. Extension or Agri. Economics or Agri. Botany or Master’s Degree in Forestry or Botany or Bachelor’s Degree in Agri. Engineering from a Recognized University or Institute AND   12 Years Experience in the field of Soil and Water Conservation or Soil Health Management or Rainfed or Integrated Farming or Soil Survey or Problem Soil Reclamation and or Project Formulation including agro-forestry projects in Central or State Govt. depts. Or Union Territory admns.
Other Criteria	Doctorate degree in any of the subjects mentioned above  will be preferred.
Experience	12 Years Experience in the field of Soil and Water Conservation or Soil Health Management or Rainfed or Integrated Farming or Soil Survey or Problem Soil Reclamation and or Project Formulation including agro-forestry projects in Central or State Govt. depts. Or Union Territory admns.
Age Limit	Maximum for deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Additional Information (Other facilities)	Period of deputation shall not be exceeding Five Years.
Role Responsibilities	Tech. Exams and preparation of reports and documents Implementation of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes Co-ordinating with State Govts. And or Implementing Agencies etc. Organizing Desk Review / Video Conference meetings Monitoring Physical and Financial progress of the schemes Monitoring the output and outcome details of the Schemes Co-ordination with International Organizations Issues in the context of Agri. Relating to Land Acquisition, Land Policy etc. Preparing Technical Concept Notes, Proposal formulations, EFC, Cabinet Notes Relevant Budget matters Preparing Parliamentary Questions / VIP References, Annual Reports, Parliamentary Standing Committee Matters
